Happy Hatter’s South = Helen and Karen :)
Since we couldn’t find a Red Hat Chapter locally, Helen and I decided to simply start our own – The Happy Hatter’s “South”
Once a week, we decided to don our red hats, grab the GPS and visit some of Miami’s wonderful attractions.

Here we are after visiting our first attraction - DSW Shoes.
Our next excursion was to Fairchild Gardens followed by the Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables.

Cruising the Maurice River in Millville–October, 2011
What a beautiful day we had today, cruising on the Maurice River. Hosted by Joan, we learned so much about the habitat of the river, including the many Eagles which we saw perched at the top of the tallest trees. After the cruise we took a little time to shop in this quaint city and then enjoyed a luncheon at one of the local Italian restaurants.

Happy Hatter’s Cruise Atlantic City–August 2010
Today we took a cruise from Gardners Basin in Atlantic City along the shoreline – in rough seas! But – we’re tough ladies. Held on tight – no one got seasick. Enjoyed a nice lunch at The Flying Cloud. Thanks to Marie for planning our day. We even walked around the little crafters market in Gardner’s Basin.
