Silent Auction Luncheon May 19, 2016

BIG THANKS TO SHERI, JUDY, BLANCHE AND SHEILA for organizing our 2nd Annual Silent Auction Luncheon.    Since it was such a big success last year, Sheri reserved the ballroom so we had enough space to bring our gently used or new items to auction off.  Lunch from Bagel Gourmet was excellent, as usual.




This year we raised $150 to offset the cost of our renewal luncheon at the Rams Head Inn.  That is double what we raised last year!  Wonderful!

Waist Watchers, The Musical–Penn’s Landing Playhouse May 5, 2016

 

 

Eleven adventurous ladies traveled by car, train, bus and taxi to see the hilarious show, Waist Watchers, The Musical at Penn’s Landing Playhouse in Philadelphia.  And, I would do it again.  The show was so funny and clever and had us laughing for 90 minutes.  Lunch at the Hilton was very good and the theater was a short walk out the back parking garage.  The four women that performed were exceptionally talented and put on a fantastic show.  Here we are at the Hammonton Train Station awaiting our 9:24 AM train. 

 

Set in Cook’s Woman’s Gym and in the same energetic and fun spirit as Menopause, The Musical….Waist Watchers, The Musical takes a hilarious and light hearted look at four women dealing with food, friendship, love, life and sex!  The theater is located inside the Independence Seaport Museum, right on the waterfront.
