Once again, the Happy Hatters gathered together to renew our commitment to plan and enjoy our upcoming season of fun! This group of active ladies started out with Queen Judy in 2002 as the Scarlet Ladies! Then, in 2006, Queen Judy placed a crown on my head and turned over her reign. Since then, we’ve tried to come together monthly for the simple pleasure of enjoying each other’s company and having a good time. I think we have succeeded. We have welcomed some new members, and sadly, we have said goodbye to some of our sisters.

As always, this generous bunch of women brought a bounty of food and goodies! You can be sure we will never go hungry!

***note – some months, we will be doing more than one event. Of course it’s not necessary to attend everything. Only those events that you would enjoy.
October – Sheri, Judy W., Marie C. – Cape May Ferry to Lewes, DE and outlet shopping via shuttle. (note: this event will probably be on a weekend due to the limited shuttle service offered during the off-season)
November – Karen, Marie S. – Mrs. Goulds Holiday Social – Georgian Court University, Lakewood
**note – the plot of this event changes every year, so if you went last year, it won’t be the same story this year.

So there it is! If anything comes along that sounds interesting, but isn’t on the schedule ----so what? That’s why we’re called a “dis-organization. We do as we please, when we please!
CHICK FLICKS! Of course we’re always on the lookout for chick flicks. These are casual events where we leave our red and purple get-ups and home and just meet at the theater at a designated time. Sometimes we’ll go out to eat before or after. Sometimes we don’t.
Jersey Boys will be released on June 20th, so keep a look in you inbox for information related to this. We may even be able to go to Marie P.’s son-in-law’s restaurant, Fitzpatricks, either before or after. More to come.
